LANCASTER, Ohio (April 8, 2020) — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. has robust children and adult grief support groups and has found a way to continue helping during the COVID-19 crisis. FAIRHOPE is now offering telehealth grief support via FaceTime or phone calls to 740-785-6546.
“We know that during times of change and uncertainty it often raises fears, concerns and anxiety in grieving children and adults,” said Tracey Miller, FAIRHOPE grief support manager. “We are fortunate to be able to continue helping the community during these unprecedented times.”
For children who are grieving, they may start asking questions about death or may keep a watchful eye on parents and not want them out of sight. If you are a parent or caregiver, please reach out to FAIRHOPE through 740-785-6546 or email pals@fairhopehospice.org. If you’re an adult who is grieving and could use support during this time, FAIRHOPE is also available to meet your needs.
FAIRHOPE offers grief services to all residents in the communities they serve (Fairfield, Hocking, Perry, Licking, Athens and parts of Franklin and Pickaway counties). Any community individuals and families are encouraged to use FAIRHOPE’s grief services, as well as, families who have lost a loved one through hospice.
