FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. Hosts Annual Celebrate Life Event Virtually
LANCASTER, Ohio (April 12, 2022) — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. will host its annual FAIRHOPE Celebrates Life event on Thursday, April 28 from 5-9 p.m. virtually.
The event will also include an online auction. The online auction starts on Tuesday, April 26 at 8 a.m., and will end after the virtual event on Thursday, April 28 at 9 p.m. To bid online, you will need to create a profile. “We encourage our patients, families and friends to always take time to Celebrate Life,” said Kristin Glasure, President and CEO of FAIRHOPE. “That’s what we are planning to do this year too even though it will look a little different by being online.”
The donations from the event and online auction will support the FAIRHOPE grief support program. Last year, FAIRHOPE had more than 200 grief visits with children and approximately 866 visits with adults.
The event will also feature the FAIRHOPE Awards Presentation where the following winners will be recognized:
- President’s Leadership Award – Rick Schneider
- Heart of Hospice – Chris Martin (posthumously)
- Virginia L. Pickering Philanthropic – Kat Dodson Family
- Partners in Excellence – Hocking Valley Community Hospital
Several local businesses have stepped up to sponsor the event including Bremen Banking Center, Claypool Electric, Fairfield Homes, Inc., Krile Communications, Fairfield Federal Savings & Loan, Park National Bank, Sitterley Law, Walker’s Shoe Center, Audiology Associates of Lancaster, Frank E.
