LANCASTER, Ohio (September 21, 2018) — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. is offering an educational program called Alternative Treatment Options for Pain and Symptom Management. Participants can attend either Wednesday, November 7 OR Thursday, November 8 from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Anita M. Turner Center. The same program will be offered on two days, so participants can pick the day that works best for their schedule.

This program will provide 6.25 continuing education hours for nurses, nursing home administrators, social workers and funeral home directors.  Participants will learn from experts on alternative treatment options for pain and symptom management including medical cannabis, massage therapy, aromatherapy, spirituality, guided imagery, therapeutic touch, pet therapy, chiropractic care and yoga.
