LANCASTER, Ohio (September 30, 2019) — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. will hold its Fall Family Grief Camp on Saturday, November 2, from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Anita M. Turner Center. This event is free, but registration is required. You can register at fairhopehospice.org or call Tracey Miller at 740-785-6546.

Family Grief CampThe Family Grief Camp is ideal for a child or family who has experienced the death of a special person and wants to learn ways to honor their memory.

“Everyone grieves in a different way and providing them with the tools to get through that difficult time is useful and necessary,” said Denise Bauer, FAIRHOPE President/CEO. “We want to do everything we can to help those in need honor their loved ones.”

LANCASTER, Ohio (September 24, 2019) — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. is offering an educational program called Caring for our region’s most precious resource… The Caregiver. Participants can attend a one-day seminar on Wednesday, November 6, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Anita M. Turner Center. The program will consist of seven consecutive sessions with breakfast and lunch provided.

Caregiver holding handsThis program will have seven continuous educational hours for nurses, nursing home administrators, social workers and other applicable disciplines. Participants will learn from experts on the following topics: The Impact of Caregiving, Finding Peace Within You, You are Not Alone, Living Your Best Life, Fuel For The Fierce, Workplace/ Family Dynamics of Addiction and Boosting Morale.

LANCASTER, Ohio (September 23, 2019) — FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. awards Jason Cox as their employee of the month for September.  The peer-nominated award is determined after being drawn from employee submissions to recognize those who exceed expectations in their position and provide the utmost quality care to our patients.

Employee of the Month Jason Cox“In the last six months, Jason has become an irreplaceable asset to our team and I’m excited to watch him excel in this career,” said Denise Bauer, FAIRHOPE President/CEO. “He’s passionate about being a part of our community, which is evident through the care he provides to our patients and their families.”

His free time is filled with taking care of several animals on his small farm, which includes ducks, chickens, two pigs, two dogs and a talking parrot. He’s also in the process of building a greenhouse and a camping cabin made out of an old grain bin.
