The Pickering House is a home-like setting situated on approximately 40 acres surrounded by nature. The quiet wooded setting makes patients and families right at home. The serene and calming atmosphere promotes quality of life - physically, emotionally and spiritually.
The Pickering House has twelve patient rooms. The spacious rooms allow privacy and comfort for family members to spend time - day and night - with their loved ones. Families are encouraged to use the many amenities of home The Pickering House has available to them. The large Family Lounge offers a kitchen for families to prepare meals and snacks. They can also take advantage of one of the two three-season porches with great views of nature all around. A Chapel, Great Room, Family Laundry and Family Shower are just a few of the comfort features The Pickering House has to offer.

Most hospice patients wish to receive care at home. Sometimes an alternate plan is needed. Care may also be provided in nursing and assisted living facilities, retirement communities, and hospitals. If care is needed in an inpatient hospice care setting, that�s where The Pickering House comes in!

Providing comfort care for those with a terminal illness, as well as lending emotional, spiritual and social support to their families and friends during their illness and grieving period.
