experience with the
opening of The
Pickering House!
Please view our
Virtual Tour.
The Pickering House
is a home-like
setting situated on
approximately 40
acres surrounded by
nature. The quiet
wooded setting makes
patients and
families right at
home. The serene and
calming atmosphere
promotes quality of
life - physically,
emotionally and
spiritually.
The Pickering House
has twelve patient
rooms. The spacious
rooms allow privacy
and comfort for
family members to
spend time – day and
night – with their
loved ones. Families
are encouraged to
use the many
amenities of home
The Pickering House
has available to
them. The large
Family Lounge offers
a kitchen for
families to prepare
meals and snacks.
They can also take
advantage of one of
the two three-season
porches with great
views of nature all
around. A Chapel,
Great Room, Family
Laundry and Family
Shower are just a
few of the comfort
features The
Pickering House has
to offer.

Care Offered
Most
hospice patients
wish to receive care
at home. Sometimes
an alternate plan is
needed. Care may
also be provided in
nursing and assisted
living facilities,
retirement
communities, and
hospitals. If care
is needed in an
inpatient hospice
care setting, that’s
where
The Pickering
House
comes in!
